Of course the ready feed is the most convenient, but it is also the most expensive. I think everyone would use it if not for the cost. The powder is much more affordable. I use the powder and mix a big batch of it fin a pitcher for the whole day so that I don't have to keep pouring and mixing all day (it is only good for one day like this however!) I pour individual bottles as necessary. I also have some of the 8 ounce ready cans for traveling...my son is 4 months and takes about 8 ounces at a time now, so it is not a waste. If you can afford it....the ready feed liquids are great, but if not, powder is just as good nutritionally...just a little more of a hassle.

I used all of them, depending on what and where I was going. At home I used the concentrate. When I was going out of the house I took either the ready to feed or the powdered. They all worked well and my daughter had no problem with any of them. The ready to feed was the best when out as all you had to do was open the can, pour it into a bottle and she has formula.

The powdered seems to work best. The ready to feed is good if you are going to be out for a while and it will be hard to mix a bottle, but that seems to make my son a bit gassy.
I've never tried the concentrate.

We have to use the ready to feed. She is on the Enfmail AR for her acid reflux. The ready to feed is smooth and really stays down better than the powder. So we have been using it the whole time. I tired the powder (we got sample cans from the doc) and she gave most of it back to me after I fed her. The ready to feed has worked like a dream. It is much more expensive, but worth it to keep her comfortable.
I would have used the concentrate, but the AR is only avialable in powder or ready to feed. So my options were limited.

I used concentrate because it was easier for me to work with. When I used powder it's more difficult mixing and shaking it up because you don't want a chalked up batch of formula. So I used concentrate and what I did was I would wash out a plastic milk container really good, and I would use equal parts of the formula and water and that would make like 10 bottles and then some and I used nursery baby water and I shook it up real good, poured it into my sterilized bottles and I was good to go. Ready to feed is good but it's too expensive. All you're paying for is someone to add the water. and it's easy, because in a 13 0z can you add 13oz of water..... that was my preference.

I started with the concentrate but I eventually switched to powdered. The powdered is better because you can take some in a little jar and then make it when you are ready, that way it won't go bad. Its just easier.

i breastfed my daughter for 4 months then i switched to formula. I used the powdered because its the best value for your money but i also kept some ready to feed on hand for convenience and feedings on the go. ready to feed is great when you are traveling! but powdered is the best value for your money. If there are any bulk buying clubs near you such as Sam's or Costco you can check their prices and sizes of formula that they carry. sometimes you can get it cheaper there. Also go to the website for the formula you use and sign up for coupons for lots of savings. Some grocery stores that give coupons at the check out will sometimes give good coupons on formula as well. Also you can check eBay for good deals but be careful buying off there! Good luck!@

concentrate cause its easier to measure out the odd numbers. like if your baby only needs 3 oz of formula you can fill it to the 3 oz mark and don't have to worry about wasting that one extra oz that you would have if measuring the powder. The only down fall is its hard to take it with you when you go shopping or out of town cause it has to be chilled. That's when the power is nice. I have often wondered why the powder doesnt come with a scoop that measures out for 1 oz at a time in stead of the one scoop to 2 oz of water. got an answer to that one.

I always used powder formula. Although it takes a little bit more time than the ready to use stuff, it is definitely the best for your money.
