my dad though it was ok to whack me across the backside until I was about 14.I found it quite humilliating.I haven't smacked my kids since they were 12.

I was spanked and beaten by my first stepdad from 7-13 years old. I was also sexually abused for a few years by the same man and the police and Children Services thought I was looking for attention and had emotional problems. They didn't believe me at all. I'm 19 now and just have blocked it out of my mind.

I haven't been spanked on the bottom since I was 9 (i didn't get spanked that often. only when i went 2 far), but sumtimes i will get a slap in the face if i go 2 far, but whatevr, I just duck out of the way, lol =). They don't care if they miss, lol (i think, lol).

I think that's a little too old for a spanking. Thats why they invented grounding children. I couldnt see myself doing it after the age of 8.

No I dont perfer that myself but i will say they should take everything you like to do away I find that hurts alot worse a spankin only last a few min grounding from the phone leaves a lasting impression
