I haven't had one yanked yet, but i guess i would personally hate it if it were for no reason.
Personally, i wouldn't report anyone unless the question or answer reeks of racism, inappropriate comments (really nasty, uncalled for statements that don't respect others' right to opinions and self expressions), perversion, excessive profanities and of course, suggestions of or invitations for criminal activity.
Think about it. A lot of the people who use Y/A are young and vulnerable, and shouldn't be exposed to some of the things that are said / suggested on Y/A.
But i do hope Y/A does do their homework before yanking.

Only if it is warranted. So far, it hasn't been. The worst part of all of the YQ&A environment is the execrable job that referees do in judging abuse -- if, indeed, there are even any people involved in doing it. I have come to suspect that the refereeing is done by a particularly stupid computer program, with no actual human intervention at all.

It seems to be a common practice to report abuse on any and all posts that have a differing viewpoint or opinion. I think Y/A is going to have to re-think trheir "report abuse" system or it's going to become an ever-increasing circus.

Yes, indeed. I once had a question about the animes Dirty Pair and Dirty Pair Flash. I think someone took issue on the titles, reported it, and the question was removed. If you ask me, it was just someone who hated anime.

I hate it when people insult others, or otherwise act in an offensive way.
Of course, you are right in the sense that one should not report someone who hasn't done anything wrong.

I think it's pathetic when they ask for an answer and I give them a truthful one, and because they didn't want to hear the truth they claim abuse. If they don't want the truth, then they should state that in their question.

YOu must have been talking about something you shouldn't have!!! so before you call names you need to make sure the questions you ask are not "questionable" in nature! You people don't get it their are kids on these forums! Keep your conversation clean at all times!!
