I was wondering if one could keep the urn of their deceased loved ones at home. I live in Quebec, if that can make a difference...

An urn is allowed if the law permits relatives to keep it at their home. Ask the government of Quebec, if urns are allowed at home.

I think the law says you can keep the urn but you gots to flush the ashes...

I know in the US it's perfectly fine. Just don't scatter the ashes in any way, as many cemeteries may not accept partial remains. At some point you may want to do something to memorialize the individual.

We keep Uncle Bird on the entertainment center....

Well till summer when we go to Key West.

DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOUR AREA, BUT HERE IN THE U.S. YOU CAN DO WHATEVER YOU WANT. I KNOW SEVERAL WHO HAVE THE FAMILY RIGHT AT HOME WITH THEM.
