Seems like a great choice. What your thoughts?

Abso-freakin-lutely! Singletary would maintain discipline and would bring a new level of inspirational leadership to the team. He has seen his share of prima-donnas, and dealt with them appropriately as an on-field leader, so would likewise deal with players such as TO. With the selection of the right staff, I think he would excel as Head Coach. He has the right mentality, projects the positive and confident image expected of Dallas' head coach, and would likely walk on and earn the respect of the players. I think he is a great fit in Dallas, and I'm not even a Dallas fan.

It doesn't matter. Weather it be him, Norv, or Wade the job is very temporary. Until a big name comes up in the next year or two. Jones needs to find a guy he can call the shots thru. A push-over. Norv and Wade are just that but I don't see Singletary taking it. You are screwed Cowboy fans, first you pick up "The Curse" Mr. Team Oblivorator. To quote Skip from Cold Pizza. Now you lose Parcells and get NORV TURNER in return. good luck on that one. Norv and Mike are better of staying put on a team that IS going somewhere.

I'm thinking they will go with Wade Phillips. He's coached for quite a few years. Singletary will probably be hired with a smaller team in a year or two.

No he is too young, not enough coaching experience. They should get Bill Belichik from the Partriots, he has the option to leave whenever he want's. If Dallas is serious about winning a superbowl that is what they should do!

Peace,

OK this is what i think and it sucks but its a good idea.. Get any coach till Bill Coward decides to coach again. Or go real huge! Jerry Jones is a man who can get what he wants when he wants it, so go huge like John Madden (not that he would) but real big!!

Yes they should hire him but not as head coach. As linebacker coach or defensive coordinator. The Cowboys have great potential in their linebackers and defense.

Mixed feelings here. I'd love to see Samurai Mike advance his career, but it would mean I'd actually have to support the Cowboys...

No, they only interviewed him because he's a minority. That's not a racist answer, that's the NFL's requirement. He doesn't have the coaching resume to get the job.
