At the age of seventeen I experienced God (everything, everywhere, everywhen, simultaneously) for a period of five hours. The following years have been, for the most part, blissful and joy-filled.
That was several decades ago. Now I share what I learned with my wife and daughter (no religion, no cult, no book, no website).
It's more than enough. I'm content.
Oh, one person occaisionally corresponds with me for ideas and feedback. I'm happy to help, and he doesn't treat me differently for it. One day I want to call him friend.

When I was 11 years old, I lived in a rural area in Maiquetia ,
Venezuela. One day, I spotted a yellow jacket nest in a tall
skinny tree and got the brilliant idea of throwing a rock at it.
I threw the rock, but missed the tree, but immediately three
yellow jackets hit me in the bottom lip, like they were shot from
a gun. I was astounded and have often pondered this.
What made them think I was even throwing the rock at them ?
Only three hit me, flying in perfect unison and without hesitating.
How did they know that 3 would send me packing with a swollen
lip? Are they smarter than we are? Would this be considered
a preemptive strike ? This happened in 1953.

I went on a 6 week vacation to London, met an Irish man, I came back to the US, quit my job, sold my car and went back to be with this guy I had only known for 2 weeks. It didn't work out but it was one of the best choices of my life because before that, I didn't know what love really felt like. Before that, I hadn't met a man I'd move across the STATE to be with, much less move to another country! I have no regrets about it.
