French movie from the late 80's?

Question

Takes place in the Victorian Era. Two men on a ship begin to talk. One tells a story of how he was a playboy and fell in love with a woman. He lost her due to indescretions. He tells the 2nd man that it was a big regret. The 2nd man says that he's married to a woman who told him that she'll never love him because she loves another. At the very end his wife joins the two and it's the same woman.

What is the name of this?

Oci Ciornie is the name. I was a little off on my description but I was able to find it in the Cannes archives.
