No, I think the contestants are thin-skinned and extremely pathetic.

I think that simon is right to the point. no cockamamie, maybe so, but just yes or no. paula is a dud; doesn't want to tell people the truth. randy is cool and collected. overall some of the contestants are looking for their 15 minutes of fame and if I were a judge it would drive me up the wall sooner or later. So no I think their not cruel at all.

No - I think if I jad to listen to half of the "junk" auditions I would be a lot nastier. I actually think these people are pathetic and looking to be the next William Hung - anything to have their faces on TV....what is this obsession with being on TV?
I almost always agree with Simon and actually I think this year he has toned it down compared to the last couple of years.

Everyone thinks Simon is rude...but he's the only one who is straight with the contestants and is prepared to tell them what is best for them. Why lie and tell someone they maybe have potential just to make them feel good, if its obvious they suck and will never make it?

The really bad ones are very funny...why else would they bother to put them in the show?

I don't feel that they are any more mean or nice than previous years. The people that keep showing up to audition get worse and worse as they have started to realize fame doesn't always have to be about who's best. ;)
*William Hung* need I say more? lol

Well, Simon has always been upfront and doesn't lie, but he does get a little too harsh, Randy and Paula do get a little mean when they laugh and the contestants, so yhea they are mean!

No, I haven't seen a really great singer at all this season...they really ought to be honest...and it's a little harsh, but these people need to wake up.
