First of all, I am NOT a student wanting help on a reading assignment and too lazy to read the assigned work and wanting somebody to tell me what it is about.

I like the poetry of Langston Hughes. I recently discovered that he had written plays as well. I am trying to be a playwright/fiction writer. Anyhow, I was curious if any of his plays were good, and if so, what ones would you recommend that I read?

Please, this question is only for people who have actually read any or many of his PLAYS. I don't need a copy of what you found on Wikipedia, or a commentary on what poem is your favorite. Thanks.

Well, A Raisin in the Sun is a perennial favorite...it gets done over and over. It's been a while since I've read it, but I guess it's good if it's popular, right? Or, hopefully, it's popular because it's good.

Which doesn't happen nearly as often.
