I can put it on, but it doesn't look good. It looks like scribbles on top and under my eyes. When I put it on my bottom I don't know how close to go. A while ago I would put it practially inside of my eye, but I stopped a while ago.

Liner on the top of your eyelid should be put on as close to the lash line as you can get it. This takes a bit of practice, or you can use a q-tip to get the excess off.

The lower lid only needs a bit of pencil to run along the lashes; again as close as you can to the lashes, not the inside of the eye. Some people like to put kohl liner in the waterline, but it does not look good on me, so I avoid it. You will have to see what you think. It goes on between the lashes and the inside of the eyelid; right along the edge.

Depending on the look you're going for is how you should apply the eyeliner. For a normal day to day look, a fine line on the top lashes only is usually enough. If you find that your bottom lashes are too fine you can add some there. When applying to the bottom lash use this as a guide -- look straight into the mirror and find the center of your iris, for a daytime liner you should only draw the bottom line to that point of your lash line. When applying the top liner, gently pull your eyelid from the side (not too tight because that causes wrinkles!) and gently feather the liner on. Do not draw a straight line because it never turns out straight when you open your eye! If you really want a straight bold line, use a liquid liner, but be warned that they are harder to get right and take a lot of practice to get right! Take a weekend off with your mirror, make up remover and cotton wipes and just keep on trying until you get it right!

If you put it under your eyelashes on the bottom but close to the edge it doesn't get in you eyes or disappear with your natural tears. You can do the same thing on the top lashes.. Hope this helps, Bitty

What I do, is i out my finger right under my eye, and pull it down and put the eyeliner right on the part above my bottom lashes that is part of the inside of your eye. It looks hot!

I have resulted to using the liquid eyeliner. And I put it on the top lid only. Close your eye and stretch it a lil from the outer part. Apply.

Maybe try a creamier liner. If you pull slightly on your lid, you can get a fairly straight line to follow. Go close to the lashes and use a light touch on the lower lashes.

Well sometimes it just takes time for it to come out good. Just for a weekend practice how to do it and eventually you will get it. Usally I pull my bottom eye down and then do it and then the top I just do the same. Its easy.

if you find the pencils hard, try the liquid ones...
i have no trouble at all with either, but some people say the liquid is actually harder (maybe it is)...
well, you know what, it just takes practice =] and after you line your eyes, use the little q-tip or spongy thing to smear it (slightly). that should help...
there's no need to ask for professional help, it just takes a while.
good luck ^^

Put it right under your eyelashes(or for your top lid, right next to the lashes). Also, make "sweeping" motions instead of little lines. It works for me!! Hope this helps!!!

just put a thick line on top and smudge it with a Q-tip or your finger, it works as eyeliner on top and bottem and eyeshadow. I normaly have no time to do my make up and that helps alot and it looks great on me
