So am I to do not forget that you've had a gaggle of urine assessments, and purely one blood attempt thus far, that you have not gotten the outcomes again from? via this time, i ought to imagine you would have had the blood attempt complete and already had an ultrasound. If I were you, i ought to flow again to the well being care specialist and demand an ultrasound. i'm shocked s/he hasn't finished that already. i have heard it really is not tremendous unusual for urine assessments to provide fake negatives, yet i don't understand why it really is. Blood assessments can now and again supply fake negatives, too, yet I even do not understand why it really is. extremely the optimal thanks to understand is at the same time as a toddler comes out. yet an ultrasound is an in intensity 2d. flow and demand one. In my city, there's a being pregnant sorting out position that does both urine assessments and ultrasound confirmation, both are loose. My city isn't that gigantic, so there is probable one on your city too. look contained in the phone e book less than being pregnant.

Hi, your ultrasound won't take an hour. I would empty your bladder about 12.30, and start drinking the water, that gives you an hour to fill your baldder which is pelnty of time if you have normal kidneys lol.You only need to have your bladder full at the time of your appointment,Gosh what if they are running late........???If you are really worried about it, get there say 45 mins early,9take a good book)empy your baldder and start sucking down that water, by the time 40 mins is up,you should be getting towards a full bladder! try it at home before hand see how long it takes you to get uncomfortably full that you have to be for the ultrasound and tehm work around it. Good luck,

I am pregnant with my 4th baby and have had about 5 ultrasounds with her so far and have never drank any water before hand. The ultrasound turns out just great. I got instructions like that with my 3rd son and was told to drink alot of water and though I was goin g to die during the wait! Just drink a cup or 2. You will be fine. Seriously.

I have had the same problem - you dont need to drink that much water - at 18 weeks i thought i was going to wet myself when they were pressing around my stomach - the last time i went i had about a glass right before i went and they didnt say anything to ,me
A litre is a lot there is no way i would have held it in either
I am 36 weeks now and feel like i spend my days just going to the toilet - i am up about 5 times a night as well.........not long to go though :-)

With both of my kids, they let me go to the bathroom before my ultrasounds because I couldn't hold it any longer. The doctors have always told me to just go "a little" and both of my ultrasounds came out fine.

AT this point you will have a intrevaginal ultrasound and you don't need a full bladder to have this one. i weent in without one and it was fine. if you have to pee then go. it will probably fill again soon anyway. HWne they do the regualr ultrasound on the belly they need your bladder full so the bladder wil push the uterus up a little more so it can be seen. you should be fine

You don't have to hold it this long. Just drink 1 L of water 30 min before you go in, and they will let you pee right afterward. Don't force yourself to hold it for 3 hours!
