My friend lies to everyone about her job, her education, and more. I've been friends with her for almost ten years, but didn't hang out with her for 3 or 4 years. She then all of a sudden calls me her bestfriend and wants me to be her maid of honor. She constantly calls me and asks for favors. She's so judgmental, stubborn, arrogant, and annoying. She thinks she's the smartest and puts down people. A friend doesn't put down a friend, they are supposed to support them. I'm going to continue being her maid of honor, but I'm going to slowly separate myself from her after her wedding day. Do you think what I'm doing is wrong?

If you accept being maid of honor than you have obligations right now. It doesn't sound like you should be accepting.....but since you did, do your best to make it a happy day for her. After cut your losses. Friends grow apart all the time. It's a part of life. BUT, I think you should have gracefully turned her down. It sounds like she has the potential of really causing more issues...and why would anyone want to go through that?

Well if you go you are lying to yourself & deceiving the end result, pull out now so you wont hang later.

Yeah, I agree dump her. You need a true blue friend.
