how long should you keep the soap on your body when you otake a shower???

As long as it not a harsh soap, you may keep it on as long as you wish, its the rubbing that cleans your body, the soap is a luxury, maybe your favorite scent or moisturizer.
Just remember to rinse well

Soap doen't really do anything but make you smell good or bad dependingon what kind of soap you use.
The friction of washing does more to clean you than the actaul soap does.
Do what ever feels good for you.

You don't leave soap on.
You lather the soap up on your body, then rinse it off.
