So the makers of greetings cards can get rich. We should appreciate our loved ones every day, not just one day because everyone else says we should. A valentines card has no meaning, people just buy them because they think they're supposed to. There's no thought behind it. My husband surprises me with little gifts all the time, he puts little notes in my coat pocket for me to find on my way to work, he sends me really sweet text messages and I also have my own ways of making him feel loved and appreciated. We never buy each other a valentines card because we don't need to cave in to peer pressure and advertising to prove how much we mean to each other.

Indeed, pretty dah to still celebrate a holiday that got canceled over three decades ago in 1969 by the RCC who started it; And because it became an orgy of consumerism and favoratism rather than being anything like God is love, the perfect sort of love having no fear nor any favoratism (no respect of persons): the grace us sort of love which never leaves nor ever forsakes any.

Because it is special day for everyone that you love and care about people. I do same thing. I buy a gift for my parents because I love them and I care about them. They also buy me a gift because they love me and care me.
