Good thing you are going to see your doctor. Hopefully you have nothing wrong. I think the doctor will tell you to take calcium. Let us know what happens. Good luck. :)

This sound is called creptations. It is not uncommon in girls. You may want to cease too much PE until you have been checked out. An orthpaedic doctor is where you should be referred.
You have dry joints. The synovial fluid normally present providing lunrication is either missing or in short supply.
Don't wait too long to have this looked at and in the meantime keep PE to a minimum to prevent wear on joints.
You may be given calcium tablets Just dont overdue them as they can cause other problems. Bone density scans may be what you need to determine whether calkcium deficiencyis the culprit
Avoid Soy milks and any Soy product unless it is the fermented type ( Soy Sauce) As these products tend to cause ostoporosis, (brittle bones.) combines with low synovial fluid will lead to the requirement of ptosthesis ( hip replacements knee replacemenst and so on)

I'll recommend 2 things your doctor might not think of, but which might help and the dr. shouldn't object.
1. Get an exam by a chiropractor, it really sounds like you need it.
2. Take a good multivitamin AND more important, a wide spectrum mineral supplement. Go to the vitamin store and find the mineral supplement with the longest list of minerals in it. You don't need a high dosage, just as many different minerals in it as possible.

don't worry about it, i have the same thing. in fact my family has always made a little joke about it saying i will never be able to be anything that requires being sneaky and silent cause theres no way!! my husband thinks its funny cause i never sneak up on him!! for people like us its normal and nothing to worry about, its just us!! so just learn to ignore it and soon it will stop bothering you. i get alot of calcium too and vitamins, so really don't worry as long as you are taking care of yourself!! its just a quirk and it becomes funny as you get older!!

If there is pain thats a sign something could be wrong but if there is no pain and it just cracks its usually harmless. Drink some joint juice or something with Glucosamine, it might help.

Could be rheumatism - a form of arthritis that can strike at ANY age. Your doc can do a blood test for it and give you some kind of medication for it.
