You could use wipes or a microfiber cloth bought from a computer store. Two less costly alternative are, one, to put a drop of hand soap or dish washing detergent in a cup of water. Apply with a soft cloth and wipe dry with another dry cloth. Never pour or spray directly on the monitor as this could leak behind the monitor.

The second alternative is to use rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol) with a soft cloth, either 50% or even better 90% alcohol.

Regular household products are never usually a good Idea to use, but they do have electronic cleaners at stores such as Comp USA and Staples that do wonders. For all my electronic devices, I use the soft cloths that are similar to those you find in prescription glasses cases. Hope that helps!
