do you have to pay a lot of money to your agent? how do you find an agent? can i independently distribute my own self-made portfolio? thanks girls!!!

Try http://onemodelplace.com/. It has great tips, you can find legitimate photographers and agents and you can get portfolio ideas from other models. You can also post a basic portfolio for free (it's incredibly easy to do as well) and photographers & agents can find you. I loved using that site when I was younger (and prettier! hehe). It got me quite a few jobs!
Oh, and no, I don't work for them or anything. In fact, I work in a totally different industry. I just really dig their site. :-P

you don't pay your agent. you can make your own portfolio but professional looks better and its easier.. even if it costs more

portfolios made by professionals looks much nicer and more presentable. show it to different agencies if they like it they will schedule an interveiw with you and work out a payment plan.

you should actually be gr8 at posing and showing any kind of emotions. you should look for a part time job that nclude modeling.maybe one time ur gr8 talent will be discovered by a good agent!! gud luck!!

if u are under 18, you may have heard about the national american miss pageant...when you enter you have an automatic chance of winnin modeling scholarships, and even if you dont make it very far, think about how many other scouts are out there && they will most likely remember your face it you just keep on smilin!!

tri calling moore models or quick drop, those r some modeling places in plano and dallas texs (if u live there)...
