I know it's easier said than done for some to find a job but if they had a job they wouldn't be homeless. Maybe someone out there has had an experience like that or knows someone who once was homeless and struggled to rise again and become successful. What were the steps taken? How did they do it everyday? What did they do everyday? Where did they sleep? What were some agencies they went to? etc.

Please serious responses only. No wisecracks.

Thanks

I also know that because you have a job that doesn't mean you have a home. Just wanted to clarify that. lol

Organizations like the City Mission, Salvation Army, Rescue Mission or Goodwill could tell you. They realize people can't just walk into an interview--they need food, the right clothes, a place to live, someone to council them through mental trauma, and hope. Hopefully they can use those places as a stepping stone to get back into society. It's much harder to climb out then it is to fall into the trap.

The hard part is not getting addicted to alcohol or drugs which is what happens to most people in an extemely stressful situation that affects your self esteem. It becomes a cycle that you can't get out of. I personally haven't been in that bad of a situation, but came up in a rough area and had some bad times for sure.

Keep your head, up don't get caught up in thinking people are holding you down, and fight the felling of being self conscious becasue someone may have more or was dealt a better hand. No one can take it with them, you don't have to get rich to be happy, just comfortable.

If they were smart, they would first of all start there day every day with God., and I'm sure He would show them the way.
