I was wondering if the laws are ever going to change on the minimum drinking age in the US or at least in Texas?...It has been a long debate,does anyone know if they are going to rethink the legal drinking age in the US ??

Im 26...But i think it should be lowered..If your an ADULT...then you should be able to drink like an ADULT..I think it should be lowered to 19,then you are out of high school...

Probably not. Although states have the ability to set the minimum drinking age I think there's legislation which requires minimum age of 21 in order to receive highway funds. I vaguely remember this since I was on the still 18 when the last state changed to 21.

Not if they want federal highway funds.
Clinton's executive order tie all that highway funding.
Age 21 BAC lower to 0.08.
We try lowering it to 18 once... ah those were the days.
But someone in Washington decided that there were too many accident so they raise it to 21.
18 you can vote go to war but buy a drink when you back NOPE.
Go figure.

never understood the drinking age thing,
i mean if someone is old enough to join the military, i think they should be able to drink and even smoke if they want.

and yes you can vote at 18 cuz of course they want more people to vote so duh they will let you vote but there's too many young stupid a**** who drink and act like 5 year olds so thanks to them you have your laws.Aint that difficult to understand!!!!!!

Congress won't pass that, nor will any President. Alcohol solves nothing, so let's allow young people to have it?
