I hate them. And I hate that every good guy that seems to be traded there seems to become a jerk, like Schilling. I hate how their fans like to criticize the Yankees for having a high payroll and overspending, and don't acknowledge the fact that Boston's payroll is second, and closing in on the Yankees. I also laugh at the fact that Boston has outspent the Yankees by many millions this offseason. I can't wait until Jeter, Cano, Abreu, A-Rod, and the Yanks give Matsuzaka a nice welcome to the major leagues.
popular b. --you are just using the Yankees as an excuse to overspend, typical Red Sox fan propoganda. Use the Yankees payroll as an excuse to spend all you want. The fact is, they got rid of Sheffield, Wright, and didn't spend outrageous money like the Cubs, and didn't spend almost $52 MILLION on a pitcher whose never pitched in the majors. In fact, the Yankees were FOURTH in the bidding. Don't even try to make it sound like the Yankees are making the Red Sox spend foolishly, Litte Theo and Lucchino are making those decisions, not the Yankees.

and for the guy above me, yes the Red Sox have spent a lot of money, and are almost caught up to how much money the Yankees spent. But this is the only way you can have a team have a chance to beat another team who spends 200m+ every year. This is an estimate. The Red Sox have a chance of winning the World Series every year just like the Yankees.
Jeffrey - In my opinion Yankees did a smart choice not spending an enormous amount of money!! Next years off season will be much better, with a lot of good players. Red Sox will have less money and not get a lot of new players.

My favorite team. They are exciting to watch and Fenway is my favorite park.
By the way, whoever keeps giving negative (thumbs down) ratings for people saying they love the Red Sox really needs to grow up.
