DNA (Deoxyribonucleic Acid) is made up of 2 strands or backbones which spiral around each other to form a "double helix.". Each backbone contains Nucleic acid bases, (Cytosine, Guanine, Adenine or Thymine), riboses and phosphates. Interesting, the A from one backbone only binds to T on the other backbone. Also, the G from one backbone will only bind to the C of another.

Chemical differences may occur because everyones genetic code has various amounts of A and T or C and G.

Hope this helps!

the sequence in it. There are some small difference between yours and everyone s DNA. No DNA's are alike. It is unlikely there ever was or ever will be someone with exactly your particular sequence. Also, which genes you express( which genes are turned on in your body) is another difference.
