Imagine that the balloon is tethered at the origin. Then the balloon can swing from, say, 0 -> 180 degrees.
If the angle of the balloon's string to the ground is t (I don't know how to make the Greek letter theta so I used t), then
A) sin(t) = y/20 where y is the height above the ground of the balloon; then y = (20m)sin(t)
