Do you mean a system restore using the restore disk that came with your computer? If that's what you mean, then no, a system restore will not retrieve them.

Did you delete them from your web account and you don't have the originals on your computer? If so, I bet they are gone for good. You could be sure by writing an email to someone at Yahoo to ask if they back up accounts. I'm not optimistic that they would, though.

If you deleted them from your computer, you might be able to use a recovery program to get them back (see link below to one brand of recovery program) or if you haven't emptied the recycle bin yet, they should still be there.

Good luck!

A restore point ONLY restores the system files for running your computer, NOT DATA. The answer about yahoo server sounds good to me

Sorry m8 yahoo pgotos arent stored on your computer there on a server probably on a different continent to you. A system restore will only work on windows system files. If you dont have a backup then there lost.

i.m not very technical but i did a restore the other day to get rid of something, if you save wot you have to disc, if you can to re-boot if you have too and try a restore it should work, but keep backups of what you have now, they havent gone to trash have they?

I'm afraid not.
Your Yahoo photos are (or were...) stored on Yahoo's server, not on your computer, so no amount of back-pedalling on your machine will bring them back.

You're faced with having to upload them all again, from your backups. You did have backups....?

Depends on when you last created a restore point, if it was very recent, chances are you should be able to retreive them. Best I can do. good luck.
