My last period was the 4th/5th January. My husband and I have had sex just about every second day of this cycle so far and I am pretty sure I ovulated on the 23rd-24th or maybe even the 25th of January because I had that stretchy cervical mucus over those days.

I took a pregnancy test last night and the second line in the test was soooooooooooo faint that i almost couldnt see it. At first (after 5 mins) I could only JUST see it if I turned the test on it's side and looked at it from an angle, after about 10 mins it was visible but only if I strained my eyes.

I am going to take another test of course, but was wondering if this means anything or if it's happened to anyone else and what your end result was? Thanks

A line is a line is a line as long as it was there before the ten minutes. I went through the EXACT SAME THING. When I took my first pregnancy test, the line was so faint, I had to hold it at an angle and squint to see it. I posted a question on here just like you, and got pretty much the same answers you are getting. The next morning, I took another test, and though it was still incredibly faint, it was a little bit stronger. I made a Dr. appt. and sure enough I was pregnant. It was just early. I was probably only three weeks which is about what you would be if you ovulated on the 23rd. Good luck and Congrats in advance.

I have to say I think that the test is possitive as long as there is a line no matter how faint or dark it is it means its possitive if its there I too had such a faint line when I did a pregnancy test with my second child that I did another one thinking like you are that it might not be an answer and the next one came out darker although I did it a few days later if you have just fallen preggy it could just be that the HCG hormons in your body wasn't strong enough to triger the line off properly so Id give it a few days and try again good luck :)

I had a very faint line on my first test, which was 9 days before my period was even due. It took about 1 minute to appear. I think after 10 minutes you aren't supposed to read the test because an evaporation line can appear. You should wait a few days and take another test.

The line can be very light or very dark, but you need to check the instruction on the test because most of them say that after so many minutes they will all show up positive even if you are not pregnant. I would suggest waiting a few days and retaking the test first thing in the morning, the concentration of hcg is higher because you haven't voided all night.

It sounds to me like you are pregnant. When i took my first pregnancy test, the line was so faint that I had to call my sister in law to ask her. She proceeded to tell me to take another one and I did and that line showed up more, yet still faint. 17 Months later i am here with my 8 month old daughter! Go for it girl!

when I get pregnant with my 5 year old all test except fact plus showed neg. just remember the farther you are the stronger the results, but if there was a line no matter how faint, I bet you are pregnant.

if you can see the 2nd line then it's positive. i've taken pregnancy tests before when i was virgin just out of curiosity before. a negative test will only show one line and you couldn't even see the second line, not even faintly.

it's very possible that you are pregnant. but to be sure, take that second test. and to be tottally positive that you are, go see your doctor.

I would say you are pregnant. That is what happened with my twins. Barely visible and had to turn to side to see but nine months later I had two baby boys! Congrats to you!!
