I've been looking for it everywhere and I can't find it! Anyone know where I can find this book at a reasonable price??? I'm a diehard fan and I just started watching the show a few months ago. My dad said I would like it. I didn't believe him but I love it now!!!

I remember the show very well and enjoyed it tremendously back in the day!!! Marlo Thomas played "That Girl" in the show. I would say it was much like the later airing show "Mary Tyler Moore" where she was Mary Richards only she was a little more daring than "That Girl"! Thanks for the memory ... I hadn't thought about THAT show in years! ; )
As for the book you're looking for ..... I wonder if it's the one at Amazon.com. Good luck with your search!

I loved that show when i was a young girl, i looked forward to it coming on..but unfortunately it will be hard to find i checked books a million, barnes and nobles and amazon with no luck.

I remember it from my childhood but I wasn't old enough to be 'into' it. That was more my mother's interest. I just looked on Ebay and there is a copy for sale. I'm sure you could probably find it at Amazon too.

I remember it and liked it. I think it was during a time when girls needed a woman to look up to. Kinda like Mary Tyler Moore. Girls living on their own and making it.

i heard of the tv show.marlo thomas played that girl(danny thomas daughter)i saw the book,but i never read it.as for liking the show,it didnt really do anything for me.
