Would you be hurt if you heard your fiance talking about a friends girlfriend who is pregnant and he called her fat (she isnt fat just showing) and you were about 14 wks pregnant?

oh my word me and my husband went rounds with that subject... I'm sure that if i wasn't pregnant it would not of bugged me so much but being as sensitive and emotional as i was i could of knocked his head off... i honestly think that its something that men cannot understand.... joking or not they still shouldn't say things like that to a pregnant girl we are mean!!

Nah i dont think i'd be hurt at all he was probably just kidding! If he wasnt then he's just ignorant and i would find that funny! My fiancé and my sisters boyfriend call me fatty all the time!!! I just laugh cos its like a little nickname for us pregnant women haha i always smile when someone meets me in town and says "WOW look how big you got" Even though my midwife says shes not happy with the very little weight i've put on!! Its all different opinions and some ppl just arent used to seeing girls with big tummy's Maybe ur friends g/friend actually has put on weight (even though its pregnant weight) she can still be "fat" she's just a different kind of "fat" LOL

men look at other woman different. example say you have a mole on your face and your man never say anything negative about it but you are walking down the street and he see a woman with a mole and says " she should get a rat to gnaw that thing off." When a man is truly in love he may say bad about other woman which is cool. You are just over reactting relax, don't turn into one of those jealous petty woman

Yes..i would be very hurt. In a way he's talking about you too. You're going to start showing obviously. How do you know what he'll be saying about you. So yeah i'd be hurt. And just tell him how you feel. Tell him you didnt like that comment

yes. I would feel a little weird if I were in that position. Tell him that you hope he doesn't feel that way about you because you're going to gain weight to bring his child into the world. It's nothing that pregnant women can help.

I know how this could upset you! definently sit down and have a conversation with him about how you felt when he said that. He probably didn't think about what he was saying! men are like that!

NO I would not be hurt nor take it personal but when your pregnant if your Husband killed a Fly you'll start to cry that's how sensitive us women are when Pregnant so don't kill your self over it as long as you know its not true then hey don't worry :)
