One fact is that I WAS THERE ON IT!
I flew from Pa. to Washington just to stick my toe in the Pacific Ocean and to go to Mt. Rainier. Worth the trip!
It is an active volcano and hopefully it will keep staying inactive.

everything about Mount Rainier is very interesting and it makes me want to go and view it. I'm going to add it to places I must visit list.

It is a volcano, when it erupts it will be very bad because Seattle is right next to it. It would be lava not ash like Mt. St. Helens. Also it is the tallest mountain in Washington you could even see it well from Seattle.
