I can imagine the responses your gonna get from this question! I always thought so-but then there are those women who will argue it. So that makes it hard to belive. Crossing the line of what you were taught and what you think is right or wrong is all the diffrence. If everyone said it was OK to be gay, then more chicks would act on it and quit lying to them selves. It's not saying all chicks could be gay,you could at least admit like if you fantasize about same sex if you do.

I;m not a woman but some of my female friends are totally str8, they admire other women but dont want to sleep with them. Some though, will take it the next step even if they dont consider themselves gay. I guess it just depends on the person and how comfortable they are with their own sexuality. By the way, your avatar looks just like a promotional picture Deborah Harry (Blondie) did for her album Rockbird. I'm wondering if you got the idea from that.

I think all people who are truly honest and open, like sex, period. We are animals after all and everyone has a button. I don't think it makes a difference who presses the button, as long as it's getting pressed!:) There are women (and men) who are so inhibited that they cannot admit any of that and therefore will only allow themselves to be turned on by what society deems as appropriate for them. So I guess the answer is no, not all. But the truth is, they would be (and so would men) if they could just appreciate the pleasure of sex in general.

Interesting quesiton Lydia!
I think we're all born with the perversities in us, and the potential to be either straight or gay,but at some stage, mentally we make a switch. I definately don't beleive anyone is born gay or straight.
So I think all women have a hidden homosexual tendancy, as do men. No matter how fervently they insist they don't, I reckon deep down there is a curiousness in all of us, not just women. It just means that most of us don't act on it.
This is the point where everyone calls me a gay ;) ...

No. probably a better question is if women have a proclivity for bisexuality? Then the answer is yes. I don't think there is such a thing as lesbian tendencies since it's does not just cover sex per se but it's more than that.

It's never a good idea to say all anything does anything. But I think women tend to have a greater capacity for affection with other women than men do with other men. I doubt if this translates to what you call lesbian tendencies though.
So I guess my one-word answer to your question is no.

Booooring.
No.
Only in the minds of most straight males. (Well, and perhaps gay women too).
It's just that women's bisexuality - not actual lesbianism, because that would exclude males from playing - is far more accepted in American society than any other non-hetero sexual orientation because guys think it's hot and want to see it. And encourage it. And often girls will go for it to impress a guy.
Blah. It's just one more version of male definitions of sexuality dominating our culture.

No, not all Women. For some Women, it may be just admiration. For instance, liking another Woman for the way she carries herself, the way she dresses, just simply her style. I see no Lesbian tendency in that, you just think she's awesome and would like to be some what like her. :)

Women tend to form close friendships with other women but that doesn't make them lesbians. So the answer is definitely not.

I think it's widely more acceptable for a woman to be bi-sexual or bi-curious then it is for men. I think it's damaging to "real" life long lesbians and bisexual women to portray it as a fad or phase.
