Hi,
The world has been here, for billions of years ... It has taken mankind, about 150 years to bring it to the state its in.. at the moment ... If we don't get it together and speak our minds, in million year terms : the end "for humans", is near for sure....
>>>>>>>
Thanks, for the question!;)

My regards!

Interesting how you put it, when will the end of the end be? It could be 28 minutes from now or 280 years from now. When the superpowers square off against each other in two camps, then come back and we'll talk end of the world.

Until then, just think regional conflicts, wars between rump states, proxy wars and brinksmanship. If you recall the Yom Kippur War in 1973, a coalition of Arab States (Egypt, Syria and Jordan) were soundly defeated by the Israelis. That was a worse situation than the current conflict and it didn't raise a blip on the world war radar (not that it didn't have the potential to spark a global war).

The next World War will involve a nuclear exchange, how could it not. In the first 30 minutes, nearly a billion people will have been vaporised, mostly in the US, Russia, Europe, China and Japan. Another 1.5 billion will die shortly thereafter from radiation poisoning. The northern hemisphere will be plunged into prolonged agony and barbarity.

Eventually the nuclear winter will spread to the southern hemisphere and all plant life will die. You ask when is the end of the world, you are asking when will we commit global suicide. My answer is it won't happen soon because the larger superpowers are more rational than the rump states in the middle east.

Our biggest risk is an accidental launch of nukes by one of the nuclear powers.

The end of the world is a local and global part of a process called Life. We are all experiencing number of endings of worlds. Most dramatic is a puberty...world as you perceive as a child ends, and new world emerges, let say being an adult. It is individual or local ending and new beginning. There is a prognosis of ending on a big scale, or global one. As a puberty it takes some time to make a transition...It is going on now, in smaller scales, preparing for a big shift. When it will happen , never know but it will, we cannot avoid it, for no matter what we do , we just contribute to the process. But there will be a new beginning for some...that how Life sustain itself. As an answer to your precise question: the idea of the end of the world will "end"itself as soon as we will understand the eternity of Life. Before that we will always afraid of changes to unknown.

Any transformation is probably sluggish, planned, and slowly evolves right into a clean reality. on each occasion cutting-edge situations at the instantaneous are not sustainable a change will convey on a clean and stronger reality. to that end, the most harm are those who created the decide on for change. Insustainability is often brought about via undue stresses and contours on a gadget of assessments and balances till that is not doable. Transformation of our nature does not unavoidably commence with a destruction yet with a acceptance of those stressers which at the instantaneous are not sustainable. In tyrannical societies the stresses of keeping the tyranny are continuously cutting-edge till a revolution brings each body to a snapping element the position destruction and rebuilding are mandatory to convey on a better sustainable society.

2012 is the latest number being bounced around because the Mayan calender ended there. No telling if they just didn't get around to the sequel. Why worry about what you can't do anything about. Spend your last 5 or 6 years striving to be the best ( educated, looking, dressed, etc) corpse that will float past the survivors of the apocalypse

No one knows, obviously, but there's a lot suggesting that 2012 is the date... just type in 2012 in "Google" and look at all the references! Wow!

Our world will never end. We will reach out to the stars and populate them. Have some faith in humanity.

The world will never end. I know that all thats stuff about "Doomsday" is going around and the " Doomsday Clock". But don't believe any of that. Just live your life. People who worry about that waste their lives. Hope this helps you.

I don't think I will live to see it in my present form. And when it does "end" it will not be a true end, only the birth of something new.
