how long does the anatomy ultrasound last (the one between 18-20 weeks)? I know every ob is different in ways they do things,but how long did yours last on average?

probably around 30 minutes if the baby behaves. It could take longer than that. But you will get to see lots of pictures of the baby. It's so cool!!! have fun!

10 to 15 minutes max. That's all mine took although they did say when i made the appointment that it would be 20 to 30. But i am always in and out again. Everyone else always seems to take longer at the dentist at the doctors does not matter what i go for 5 minutes and I'm finished. Typical wait 35 minutes for your appointment and your out in 5. I don't know what other people do that takes so long????

I had regular and a 4d ultrasound 5-10 minutes.

mine only lasted about 15 to 20 minutes.

They should only need 10 minutes, plus two hours in the waiting room and a half hour dealing with insurance / co-pays.
It's really fun so enjoy the picture show.

I even have had 2 the 1st one grew to become into actually like 5 minutes yet i grew to become into only 5 weeks and that they only mandatory to make specific the infant wasn't in the tube lower back, 2d one grew to become into quarter-hour and the tech grew to become into like "next time (20 weeks) you would be in right here for a competent hour and we are going to provide like 30 photos" So i say the 1st couple are distinctly usual. i'm 12 weeks.

my regular 20 week ultrasound was 15 minutes, my 3d/4d scan was about 20 minutes.

About 30 minutes. I came with a full bladder, she took one picture, let me go to the bathroom, then did the rest of the scan.
