alt+164 on the number pad =D
or if u have the problem with the laptop and you have no number pad, then just press the button that has a "fn" or matching color with the ...'insert, home, delete, end, and pg up and pg dn...etc..' the press the ''end'' button, or else it will say 'num lk' in smaller letters, then hold alt+164, there will be numbers on a few of the letters, for example what i do is...
press "fn" at the bottom left corner,
press "end" (num lock)
hold alt
then type in "j" "o" "u"
notice that there are smaller digits by the letters....
hope that works for u

My preferred way to do it: Control Panel / Regional and Language Options / Languages / Details..., then add United States-International, then go into Key Settings... to set up keyboard shortcuts to switch between United States-International and English (United States). While in United States-International, you can do it just by typing ~n.
