That kind of pisses me off. Especially when my best answer is by votes, I like to earn it the right way. I ask 30+ questions a day and I best answer every one of them, it cant be that hard for people who ask a normal amount of questions, lol♥

I had three that were open that I completely forgot about... I have a life outside yahoo answers and with the new glitches in the system due to new programming, I haven't received email notices regarding it. I always go through the replies given and wait the allotted time frame, usually 24 hours to see if anyone else has anything new to add to a said question. And besides, thumbs down, you lose a point- oh yes you do, read the latest yahoo answers blog if you think I'm kidding on that. I was down 4 points, which I really don't care about it but have wondered what was up.

To me,it's kinda rude.On the other hand, there are some Q's that get so many answers. One of the ones I answerede a little while ago already had 76 answers.I think in those cases,it's hard to choose. But,when there aren't that many,it's rude and lazy.

I have noticed that some people delete the question after receiving quite a few answers to avoid awarding a best answer. Talk about cheesey! I know of one person that does it often and as a result, I will never answer one of her questions again. Why bother.

That they have a life outside of YA and just got busy or they couldn't make up their mind and let the others choose.

I know what ya mean. I mean, it costs ya -5 pts. to ask a question, but you get 3 points back to pick the best answer. When I ask a question, I always go back & pick the best answer. I know it's tough to pick the best answer some times, but then just pick a random answer, something, anything!

The only points you are "due" are the two you get for answering the question.

I thought you still got the points whether the ASKER chose it or it was voted on, either way!
