Its definitely a game of skill. If you see the final tables in tournaments the professionals tend to always make it. Granted there is some luck involved, just like anything you play.

poker is partialy chance and partially memorising the cards eventually you see them all also 99% of communication is given off through the body mainly wi the eyes a person who can close down emotion while reading that of others makes the bes poker player a good memory helps 2.

I would say it's 70% skill, 30% chance. The hand you get is mostly chance, but ultimately has little to do with whether you win and by how much.

Chance relates to the cards you are dealt. Skill has to do with knowing when it is beneficial to bet and stay in the game, and when it is advisable to fold. Skill is also involved in assessing your opponent, the likelihood that he/she has a good hand, or is bluffing.

I think all card games, and games in general are both chance and skill, because you cant control what cards come up, but you can control which ones to keep, toss, etc.

It depends on how observant you are, and how much you know about probability. If you know next to nothing, then yes, but if you are quite astute and have a good grasp of statistics than it is less so.
