What are you supposed to say when you are someones reference for a job? My friend put me down as her reference, and I dont know what i am supposed to say if they call me. Any advice?

Answer the questions they ask as honestly as you can. Most of the time when somebody is put down as a reference they put down people they have worked with so they can tell potential employer how their work ethics are. Have you worked with your friend before? Like I said just be honest....

Alot of times the caller will ask if your friend shows responsibility by showing up to work, on time and things like that. just answer the best you can, and be honest

The questions will be presented by the caller, the answers by you. If your answers make your friend look bad then the caller will make a decision that is not beneficial to your friend.
