Nowadays they call them Neo Hippies but if they aren't protesting are they true hippies? In the sixties they stood for Love and Peace, what do they stand for now?

The original "hippies" had balls and MADE social and political changes. Today, I think "hippies" are powerless. The media has changed everything.

Unfortunatly if there are "true hippies" out there they will be unable to respond because I doubt they have a computer. If you really wanted to reach the hippies I recommend writing your question on tiny hemp sweaters and put them on endangered animals, the hippies are more likely to see it.

Come to think of it, I doubt there ever were. Rumour had it just a little after it was over that they, and the Jesus Freaks were in actuality a government creation. Now ... looking back ... I wouldn't be surprised.

Nope, I don't think there are any true hippies left. They would be older and wiser and just a remnant of what once was. it's ok.
