Don’t ask you why you want this information, be still my heart, we can tell it is not because of your interest in the subject, wait I know. However out of respect for our relationship I’ll keep it a secret.
The South had to seize the weapons because they had thought they were going to be allowed to secede peacefully and when they found out Lincoln planned on fighting they knew they would be needing weapons. They seized the armories in their respective states but especially Harpers Ferry where the machinery was kept to make the weapons.
There were many peace initiatives trying to stop the South from seceding (or returning to the fold) Virginia , Tennessee, North Carolina and Arkansas were waiting to see if Lincoln would negotiate and then the States would have changed their minds. However when Lincoln called for volunteers along with announcing he on going through Virginia territory, Virginia said enough and seceded. When the other three States saw Virginias’ actions they too went out.
The North had so many advantage it would be easier to say what if anything was the North deficient. They had more rail roads, rolling stock, weapons, world recognition, funds, ships, factories, hospitals and general supplies (uniforms, powder, machinery, etc) it was a wonder to me that the South had nerve to have even tried to secede.
Colonel Lee was offered Command of the Union Army (he would have been its Commanding General), but he turned them down. Saying he could never raise his hand against his home (Virginia). "I shall never bear arms against the Union, but it may be necessary for me to carry a musket in the defense of my native state, Virginia, in which case I shall not prove recreant to my duty."[
The Anaconda Plan. A blockade which like a constrictor snake would not crush its prey, but gradually tightens its hold until its victim suffocates. Divide the Confederacy into segments and isolate each one. It had already been done in July 1863, when Vicksburg surrendered, and in effect the Confederacy was split on the north-south axis.
In late 1863, and extending into Christmas 1864, the Chickamauga to Savannah Campaign split the South again, this time on an east-west axis. What had been in 1861 a huge 750,000-square-mile geographic colossus, stretching from the Atlantic to the far reaches of Texas, was by the end of 1864 three separate and isolated islands: There was the area west of the Mississippi; then, the deep South, including Alabama, the southern part of Georgia and Florida; and finally, the North Carolina-Virginia pocket.
God Bless You and Our Southern People.

1. Oh I didn't know what the south was...anyway, it had to sieze all the arms because in the civil war most of them were amputated later due to infection.
2. Because Virginia didn't have a telephone yet and she thought Lincoln was just showing off by calling up 75,000 troops.
3. The North had the advantage of cold winters...it really made them angry every time they had to shovel their driveway...but it taught them something. The South was warm so it promoted a laid-back sort of lazy attitude that persists to this day.
4. He offered him a million dollars to sleep with his wife one night. Since Lee wanted her gone for more than one night, he turned Lincoln's offer down.
5. The North's strategy to 'wiin' the war was to allow the PS3 to come out first at an absurdly high price...then undercut them with an attractive and completely different game console that was significantly lower in price.
Seriously, getting somebody to do your homework on the Internet is extremely lame.

ultimately what further the Civil conflict to a bloody disagreement grew to become into westard enhance. After the U. S. shaped, we began looking westward for colonization. The coaching grew to become into that of appear destiny. (It grew to become into God's will that people colonize from ocean to ocean.) as quickly as we offered the Louisiana territory, we fought a conflict with Mexico. With each and each consecutive acquisition/conquest of land the question approximately slavery got here up. ought to new states be loose from slavery, or ought to slavery be criminal. for the reason that 0.5 the rustic grew to become into in the South, 0.5 the rustic well known criminal slavery. Now, the North began to industrialze and commenced based much less and much less on slave exertions, and greater and greater on inexpensive immigrant exertions. hence, Northerners began to get politically energetic to restrict slavery in the rustic. a number of undesirable rules in the 1850s further the explosive subject be counted of slavery to a boiling element. ultimately, the arguments of the time have been: a million) Why in a society that asserts to be loose and democratic are there slaves? 2) What good does the federal government ought to get rid of assets it is criminal to very own? 3) How lots potential ought to a centralized federal government have? ought to states have greater potential or decrease than the federal government? The North had the great element approximately numbers and industry. The South had the great element approximately greater advantageous fighters and militia management. the main appropriate reason the North fought grew to become into to maintain the union. The South grew to become into in a state of insurrection and Mr. Lincoln acted to crush it. The North supported Lincoln in this regard. (people began to bitter on the conflict after Lincoln's Emancipation Proclamation which freed slaves in revolt territory. Many began to desolate tract the militia and quit scuffling with. inspite of the incontrovertible fact that, many African-people signed as much as combat.) The South grew to become into scuffling with for honor, civic delight, and the rights of assets and liberty. (The question of slavery wasn't debated. It grew to become a badge of nationwide delight to very own them.) to this element, the Civil conflict is the bloodiest that the U. S. has ever fought. Over six hundred,000 died from that conflict.
