It's a natural warming/cooling corrective cycle that the earth goes through periodically. But humans have such a vanity about themselves, they do not think in geologic time. We think that everything important happens within a human generation. We cannot conceive the kind of changes that the earth goes through over hundreds, thousands, and millions of years.

Nothing out of the ordinary. Climate change has been going on for over 20 million years. There have been recorded changes in climate (sometimes radical ups and downs) for at least 400 years and there is NOTHING to indicate that driving an SUV or raising cows are having any effect whatsoever on ozone, warming, etc. So-called experts like Al 'I-invented-the-internet' Gore cry and whine about the polar icecaps shrinking yet the temprature of the north and south pole areas have NEVER been above nine degrees F since man has been keeping records of such things. Last time I looked, ice doesn't melt until 33 degrees. (?). He also moans about the shrinking glaicers. Guess what? Scientists (real ones) have recently found remains of Viking settlements where the glaicers were -- meaning that at one time in the near past (before the internal combustion engine) there wasn't a glaicer there at all! How do you explain that? Personally, I agree that we should always do everything within reason to keep our enviroment clean and healthy, but to assume we, man, actually has the power to alter this planet on a global scale, is idiocy.

Every respected climate scientists says that the Earth is warming up and that we're responsible. Saying that they're wrong would be like refusing to believe you have lung cancer when ten different doctors all told you that you did.
It's faulty logic to say that the Earth goes through warming trends, so we're not at fault. People die, but that doesn't mean we don't investigate murders. Besides, at least this way, we can do something about it, rather than watch as millions of people die from droughts and famines.

There is a natural cycle to the warming and cooling of the Earth ... but we humans are accelerating those changes ( no action without reaction ) and more than likely at faster rates than the planet can cope with ...
Anyone who can not see that our lifestyles have a negative effect on this planet of " finite " resources are being very very ignorant and short-sighted

Global warming, we have been warn for as far as I can remember, but no! we never listen, about everything that's damaging our world ozone layer and atmosphere, And you haven't probably heard how the North pole is doing. We are all taking everything for granted, even thought we'll re grated later.

I think the earth runs in cycles. We are in a warming cycle at the moment and probably will be long after we are gone. The earth is millions of years old and scientists have shown that it runs in cycles. Honestly, if the warming at the moment will stop an ice age or at least slow it down a bit, then I'm not really worried.
