i broke a piece of ceramic that my wife likes a lot so im in a big trouble i guess

If the piece(s) are still whole try re-attaching them with super glue...the gel kind works best.

Of course she will know about it in the end, no matter how good the repair.

Get a tube of JELL TYPE SUPER GLUE, not the liquid kind. Then glue up the ceramic piece. Then go to Lowes and buy some regular fine tile grout similar in color + a tube of colorant of suitable color for cement products. Mix up a small batch in a cup to match the ceramic piece. Then clean out those cracks good and fill it best you can.

I like to wet sand afterwards with water and wet/dry 600 and 1000 grit abrasive paper Get that at Paint store like Sherwin Williams

After youve done your best on the sanding and filling and color matching. Get a spray can of epoxy clear coat and give the entire ceramic a coating. Pick your choice, gloss , satin, etc.

You will hardly know its broken if you do a good job on color match.
