civilization has failed, technology is gone. people are back to living in harmony with Mother Earth. the only survivors are the indigenous peoples of hawaii and upper canada. california is an island, the whole american continent is a lush tropical forrest. tigers (probable descendants of zoos) roam the land. horses and buffalo once again thunder in great herds across the plains. the people are those who kept the ancient traditions alive within their tribes, this is not my wish this is my vision.

Interesting ! i wud go for hops ! like 500 years the 1000 years the 1500 etc ! and see how the world changed in those years just...jot it all down come back and release a book ! ! The Future and Back ! HeHe

Five hundred years on to see just what a mess mankind has made of mother Earth ...... then I would wish to go back to the present to be thankful that I am here and not there!

it'd be offputting if you went into the future to see your partner all old and wrinkled - or to know you died to leave them a widow or something.
i wouldnt travel - plus - the way this worlds going, i'd end up in the middle of some intergalactic war or summit
