If particular, then reinstall abode windows with out them. different than that, restart the laptop and enter the BIOS setup and set all to default or optimal (try the two); whilst on the setup, verify that each and all and sundry readings are appropriate (cpu speed, quantity of RAM put in, harddsik length, followers, voltages, ..), save and restart. additionally, try changing the hard disk cables (SATA OR EIDE, besides the fact that), uninstall all upload-on taking part in cards, and disconnect any optical-disk drives; start up abode windows and notice the way it works. you may get your self a bootable abode windows ninety 8 CD and reboot from it; do no longer start up the setup application, fairly, proceed to the command instantaneous, Fdisk thepersistent: wreck all partitions and recreate from scratch; format (Fdisk will format utilising fat32); run finished scandisk over the hard disk, verify to proceed with the full floor verify, that is going to take time although that is effectual in detecting and staining undesirable clusters; reinstall abode windows and be conscious(attempt to place in abode windows Xp or abode windows 7 this time). If this final step does no longer artwork, then: try flashing the BIOS from Dos ecosystem.. try installation the hard disk in yet another pc and notice the way it works.. try swapping laptop factors, one after the different, with yet another laptop and notice the way it confines down.. Google it.. flow to a laptop save and ask them to restoration the project.., verify if Gateway can help.. ... .. . do away with the rattling element and purchase a clean one ! good success.

It might be that you need more RAM, or something as simple as getting the inside of your computer cleaned out. Dust and dirt on the inside of your computer can cause it to go very slow and overheat.
