i've heard that if they get a good lawyer its possible..... i know here in the great state of Georgia if they step foot in your home and you feel threatened you are fully in your legal rights to shoot them or stab them or hit them... whatever you deem necessary. I don't see why it should ever be any other way.

I've seen a case like this in CA...go figure,

but if they injure themselves on some grossly unsafe condition or a booby-trap, the owner can be sued.

If you are home, and you shoot them dead...all is well. You have that right under self-defense.

If you shoot them, and they live, guess what...they can sue you for the injury and disability if applicable.

So make sure they DIE!

The homeowner can be sued, but only if the homeowner is grossly negligent.

Yes. It has happened and the criminal won the case. Isn't that rediculous!

Just make sure you kill them, if you just hurt them, they can sue your insurance company. Stupid, right? It's true.
