The chances a person will be executed because they were found guilty in court and die and then they find out after the trial and the execution carried out that the person was innocent to begin with.

these days with dna and forensics the chances are slim.
before someone is executed they have to be proven guilty
beyond a reasonable doubt.
this is why we have groups of people (jurors) that listen, analyze and decide together.
it has happened before in recent years, but not too often, that someone was found not guilty after their execution......
just hope and pray that if it was you, and you were in that situation, that you had some people in the jury that can think on their own and voice their opinion, not just a bunch of people that "follow the crowd" and do what one loudmouth with a bad opinion purposes.
