Its a 1973 Fiat Spider Convertable red with black top and racing stipes. I just rebuilt the engine and trans. added new brakes all the way around and installed a set of new tires. Can anyone tell me the value of such a car.

Have you searched for other cars of similar make and model for that year that are offerred for sale? I have emailed sellers and learned what they actually were paid for their cars. Some aren't as forthcoming with that answer, but you can at least find a good starting price by looking at the average asking price. You can get a free appraisal from some credit unions and car buyers. You can see what they're selling for on ebay also. I found several models both before and after 1973, but you can keep checking!

Depends, I have seen Fiat prices go up and down within the year. Ebay can be a good index of what the real world is willing to pay for such a car. I have a 81 Spyder 2000 prices range from $ 9,000 on down to $900. depending on condition. Also... check out some of the Fiat clubs online.
