Delta single handle shower diverters are not reversible, you must reverse the lines. Cut the lines in a convenient spot and cross them, if you can't solder use compression fittings.

Sounds like you crossed the lines. Which means you gotta get to your pipes and reroute the hoses leading to the faucet. No plumber, just a new home owner who had the same experience on my kitchen sink. I would have someone handy you know come and do it because it can be hard to pry off the nuts and bolts and you might have to replace a lot more than what you are expecting in the end.

what type of faucet do you have? if its single handle the problem could be with the acutal valve (inside parts) needing adjustment. two handle..i would suggest just changing handles and dealing with it. without an access panel to the plumbing you are looking at spending some cash to get behind the wall.

Take off the handle and then move the "stem" that the handle attaches to 180 degrees...that will correct the problem....oh, don't forget to re-attach the handle...lol
