Honestly, why does your religion for the most part preach hate? And whats with treating women like crap?

Just like in any group you're going to find extremist. just because a small portion of a group is highly vocal and grabbing a lot of attention doesn't mean they speak for everyone in that group. My dearest friend is a muslim and one of the most caring compassionate people I know. He treats his family, colleagues, and friends (male and female alike) phenomenally well. We have spoken on the topic of the difference and similarities of our respective religious beliefs often and not one time have I ever heard him advocating death to America or any other country. Of course we both agree there are INDIVIDUALS the world would be better off without but everyone has feelings like that whether they admit them or not. The bottom line is that as a whole I have found no reason to substantiate the myth that muslims are any more intolerant or hateful of any group of people than you find in any other religion- christianity included. I think the better question would be why do people carry out acts of violence or mistreat people in the name of their higher power.

The oppressors, tyrants, and all those who exploit others in any way

Because Islam loves:

All those oppressed, common people, and the vast majority of human population including dear Americans!

Regarding women, look at the exploitation of women in the name of freedom. A man is not considered decent if not properly clothed while a woman, otherwise. A man does not have to bear the pains of childbirth while a women has to go thru a lot of labor. Whereas they are considered 'equal with men' in working environments. If you are a girl/women, try to cover yourself for a while, I am sure you will feel more comfortable and dignified. If you are not a girl and don't believe in what I am saying then happy exploitation!

By the way have you ever looked at the scarf from a purely commercial viewpoint? What would happen to a multi-billion dollars industry that pockets money from women in the name of fashion, showbiz, freedom ... Enough for now.

Just like there are Christians who join the KKK and preach and practice death, there are Muslims who join Al Qaeda and preach and practice death. People who want to hate will always find a religion that supposedly justifies their hatred.

All the while, the silent majority is trying to live peacfully.

What if it's the people that are hateful and it has nothing to do with religion. If a person hates people it doesn't matter what religion they are because they will still hate people
