I am very loud and confident and I would never speak softly to a guy that I liked bc I would want him to like me for the real me. I speak softly to people who I think are a bit fragile or sensitive. Although, if she speaks REALLY softly, she could be wanting to be physically close to you and trying to make you lean into her to hear what she's saying. It could definitely be a thing where she's trying to establish intimacy with you.
