Human behavior is mostly controlled by hormones which is determined by bodytype. Personality is learned from birth on, so mostly by our surroundings in order to protect our essence which is what one is born with and therefore fragile. Our surroundings gradually are attracted to us by our being or the sum total of our desires.(wants and unwants) Our peers are similar as they also are attracted to us by our frequency.

Perception and experience... personality traits make each one of us unique and discerning between behavior and what is acceptable is a matter of idealogy. Who knows why we behave the way we do... that is an extremely intimate question that needs communication towards oneself to better themself and then it goes into reaction mode... peer presure, societal dogma, etc are placeholders that dictate... these are my opinions and I thank you for hearing my words.

My opinion. it should be respectful.
defines our personality.. it reflects off us.. if we are rude/ crude/mean other people will think of us that way as being our nature.
surroundings.. it is the same. it reflects off us to other people.our peers. learn from us to be rude crude. mean. we need to be better people so our peers will be too.

positive feelings are infectious, negative feelings are infectious- that's what it seems to boil down to often.
