no they're not kinda ugly they're completely ugly and yes they are a chic car. besides all a PT cruiser is,is an uglier version of a neon same engine pretty much same suspension and chassie also same problems as neons. I'm not a foriegn car fan but if you want a dependable car the new toyota camerys are good and so are honda accords you see both of these cars get alot more milage out of them then a PT. well hope this helps.

No, they are not "girls" cars and they are not ugly. They have been around for about 5 years now and have always sold very well for Chrysler so obviously there are a lot of people who think they are attractive, dependable vehicles. They do seem to appeal to woman more then men I would say but I see plenty of men driving them. They are, like all Chrysler products, very dependable and reliable. I say go for it. Its a great little car.

I'm a married, sixty year old man and we own a 2001 Inferno Red PT Cruiser Limited; we obviously don't think it's either ugly OR a "chick's car". We love ours and wouldn't even think of trading it in. It's useful (plenty of room to haul stuff, especially with the back seats folded or removed, when necessary), cheap to operate (burns regular gas, not extra or special), and we've had no problems with it since the day we bought it new in 2001.

as much as I dislike Chrysler, my vote is going to the Pontiac Aztec. i don't be attentive to what the designers have been smoking, besides the undeniable fact that it would desire to have been effectual stuff. Take a stable look on the profile of it. The Aztec is the only own motor vehicle I ever observed that replaced into patterned after a rubbish truck.

Not a girly car..just heavy, ugly, and slow but I would like to put 13 inch Daytons/ Vogues on one with Air Ride...purple or gold metallic paint ...maybe a custom chrome grille....I don't even think the car has 300 horses even with the biggest engine offered.

It's not a girly car. It's an Old Fogie car. I call them TP Cruisers.

I think that the style appeals to everybody but performance wise it's not that great and gas mileage isn't too great either, you can get a Toyota Avalon with similar gas mileage to the Chrysler PT Cruiser, styling wise is okay but not that great.
