i recently lost the key to my safe and now i need some things from it

you might need to have a lock smith come over to do it or bring him the safe if it is small enough..

You could use paper clips. Bend a paper clip double and flatten it out. Bend it at a right angle about 3/8" from the end. You use it to put radial pressure on the cylinder so you put it in the key slot on the opposite side from the tumblers. Use a straightened out paper clip to push the tumblers in while you hold radial pressure (like you are trying to turn the cylinder) If you get the tumblers in the correct depth the cylinder will turn and it will unlock.. Some locks are easy and some are darned near impossible to unlock...

It can be done with a few paper clips actually (one as the tensioner and one as the pick) But its highly unlikely anone that dosent already know how to pick locks is going to be able to do it.. and even if they know how its gonna be difficult with paperclips..

Picking Locks is NOT like in the movies or on TV...(except the really easy 3 pin wafer locks) As this is a safe its gonna be even MORE difficult than usual.

use a bobby pin.....or sharp wire that doesnt bend
