I was watching this movie and didn't get to see most of it. (have to love being a parent) I don't understand what happened to the little girls in the beginning of the movie. Can someone explain it to me?

They had been raped and murdered and John Coffey had found them.He was blamed for the murder but he did not really do it.

Wild Bill inmate guy, was working on their farm, he rapped and killed them. John Coffey found them and was trying to take it back like he did with the wardens wife cancer and Tom Hanks characters bacterial infection. But he couldn't because they had been dead for sometime. That's why at the end of the movie John holds in the cancer from the wardens wife and gives it to Wild Bill when they go back to the prison.

The little girls were killed (and it was implied that they were sexually molested or raped). Not my favorite part of the movie...
The big dude was blamed for the crime, because he was seen holding the bodies and crying. However, it was actually another dude that did it, and the reason the big dude was holding the bodies was that he was trying to restore them to life.
i think they framed him cause he was black thats the only reason they framed him and then after that he went to prison and he was lonely until he met a mouse and he was then killed by a lil shocking chair

The girls were killed by that jag off that called himself billy the kid, but john coffey tried to bring them back to life, although it ws too late. Coffey still had the girls in his arms when they were found, that is why he ended up on death row. You should try ( i know its hard) to watch it again, however, its one of my all time faves, and I have seen every movie you could imagine.

The new inmate Wild Bill' Wharton killed the girls as well as other things, but it was John Coffey who found them first, and when everyone came to see what the commotion was about he was blamed for their deaths.

You need to watch that movie, its way good, have tissues handy too, one of my favourites.
I also liked the Green Butchers, very funny saw it the other night, Danish with subtitles, try that one if you can.
And the colour Purple, funny the colour thing again...All good ....

The two young girls were kidnapped by the farm boys and killed they then the police found the big black guy trying to help them well they charged him with two counts of murder and that is why he is on death row. I do recommend you watch the whole movie it is a great flick not one to miss and well it is a very touching story very moving.

The guy that was helping the family raped them then killed them, (the white crazy one) that was also a big menace in the prison since the black man has the ability to heal people he tried to go and save them but he was too late, they were already dead. Since he was holding them and covered in their blood and crying hysterically they assumed he did it.
